Hey there, it’s Bruce Woodburn with CrossCountry Mortgage and WDBO radio with the three big things you need to know. It’s Friday again, I’m looking forward to a great weekend. So getting right down to business. Three big things you need to know.
- First of all, you’re seeing rates going up. I know I’ve been throwing the flag out there for weeks, but now Wednesday the Fed announced that they were going to look at possibly increasing interest rates. It’s time! You saw the bond market literally tanked by 75 basis points on Wednesday alone, 75 basis points. That equates to three quarters of a point of a discount in one day. So, we lost a lot of ground on Wednesday, got a little bit back on Thursday and Friday is kind of flat. So we lost a little bit of ground on there. BUT interest rates are still very attractive, so don’t wait around any longer.
- All right, next big thing you need to know is Happy Father’s Day to all you dads out there. Don’t forget to treat your dads really, really well, It’s very important. We dads need a little extra attention sometimes, so don’t forget about dad on this weekend.
- And then the third thing is that I want to just announce some upcoming classes. You can always check out my podcast on Spotify, Youtube channel, iHeart radio and now my new show on WDBO on Sundays at 11 o’clock, The Loan Arranger Radio show. So, we’ve got three classes coming up. One is going to be on the 23rd of this month, which will be my wealth building class. And then I have a construction perm class that I’m doing again. I’ve been doing these every other month. Getting a lot of legs on it. I’ve got the best construction perm programs in the market. I have never seen a better one. Check out my class. It walks you through the program from soup to nuts. It’s designed for real estate agents and people that want to buy or build on their own lot or by a lot and close it all on a construction to perm loan. That is going to be on July 28 at six p.m.
