Hi there, it’s Bruce Woodburn CrossCountry Mortgage, WDBO Radio and now News WFLA Radio on Saturdays at two o’clock. I’ve got a brand-new show called “Loan Arranger Radio.” I hope you have a chance to tune in to WFLA 540AM, it starts at two o’clock on Saturdays. I’m going to be featuring local real estate agents and builders that want to share some of the products and services that they have to offer. I’m really excited to be adding many of my partners to this new radio show. Now as always, here are the three big things you need to know.
- First thing you need to know. Don’t discuss politics at work. It doesn’t work and it’s not good. Don’t try and mix it in at work, it would be a big mistake!
- Second thing you need to know is for all my self-employed people out there. Believe me, since tax time is around the corner, if you want to buy a home in 2021, now is the time to start preparing. You’re going to need your tax returns for 2020 completed in February or March of 2021. To help you out with this, I will personally review your 2019 and your 2018 tax returns for free, and let you know where you need to be, to be on target to show enough income for 2020. That’s really important, because it will be here before you know it. So, if you want my help, I am committed to be here for you.
- Last thing, if you are self-employed and you don’t want to show the money on your tax returns, that’s fine too. I have a no tax return program for self-employed people. It’s a bank statement program where I will analyze the last 12 months of your business bank statements and average the deposits made into that account over 12 months, and use 50% of those deposits as income. Now, if your income has declined in the later years, you could have an issue with that. So, I just want you to be aware of that. If it’s starting to decline, then we want to make sure we’re addressing that issue as soon as possible. But I will tell you, nationally, these bank statement programs are up 30%.
